What will you do
  • Work closely with the technical manager of the section and another data analyst
  • Assist in the development of a project plan and the implementation of the following:
  • Build and maintain a data warehouse of all incoming royalty-related data from over 50 different sources, especially DSPs, CMOs, labels and publishers
  • Automate the ETL process
  • Develop data processing programs to work on stored data and produce analyzes on numerous data sources
  • Develop dashboards to visualize data stored by staff and customers
  • Manage data preparation for royalty audits and other projects directly for clients
Skills and qualifications
  • Experience in statistical analysis
  • Experience with Excel (writing formulas, formatting, etc.)
  • Ability to write SQL queries
  • Data cleansing experience
  • Familiarity with Python
Expertise desirable
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Transact-SQL syntax and functions
  • Experience with Jupyter Lab / Notebooks
  • Possibility of using Pandas for data manipulation
  • Ability to use Python-to-SQL connections with Pyodbc / SQLalchemy
  • Familiarity with Excel Power Pivot
  • Knowledge of the digital royalty landscape in music streaming and distribution
