Data Analyst, Department of Psychology – Georgetown College – Georgetown University

Job Overview

The Data Analyst supports a multi-site grant with multiple PIs and data collection at the University of Wisconsin, Brigham Young University, and the University of Michigan, working on the CAFÉ Consortium Data Integration Project, writing R scripts. and the construction of statistical models for the analysis of P01 projects.

Interactions at work

Primarily and closely supervised by GU’s Principal Investigator, the Data Analyst coordinates with other data stewards at grant sites to securely share a comprehensive assessment of home media exposure metrics.

Overseen by all site PIs, they run models to integrate data streams, they coordinate with data scientists at Methodic where time-use log and chronicle data streams are collected and collated; and they perform data cleaning steps and prepare datasets for longitudinal analysis.


  • BA/BS degree from a 4-year college with a concentration in Data Science or Statistics
  • Advanced statistical training, skills in R statistical programming and data visualization

Preferred degree

  • Development data analysis research experience
  • Research experience in a field related to child cognitive development
