Data analyst job with Tory Burch


Tory Burch is seeking a talented, KPI-focused, Customer-obsessed Data Analyst to help develop and execute strategies that drive continued business growth in Retail and Ecommerce. . This role offers the unique opportunity to lead large-scale and highly visible projects within different teams.



  • Analyze customer insights, provide audience recommendations, create audience segments, and measure campaign and test performance to support CRM strategy
  • Build customer audiences, analyze customer insights, and measure customer effect to support data-driven retail strategy
  • Perform customer analysis to support retail as well as global / regional businesses
  • Create customer KPI reports to improve understanding of the business
  • Manage customer information dashboards, providing a summary of key information for stakeholders on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Execute audience segments for email and digital marketing campaigns
  • Support CRM / IT in reconciling data from various sources; design and / or improve processes to monitor data and ensure its accuracy and integrity
  • Develop data test plans, manage and execute user acceptance tests to ensure the accuracy of customer attributes in internal systems


  • At least 2 years of data and analytics experience with big and complex data; E-commerce and retail experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of database and campaign management
  • Preferred degree with specialization in statistics, computer science, engineering or other quantitative field or equivalent
  • Proficient in SQL, Python and other scripting / automation techniques
  • Experience with Hadoop, in particular Cloudera, is required
  • Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software is required
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Microstrategy or other BI tools is preferred
  • Knowledge of email, direct mail and database marketing concepts (such as segmentation) is required
  • Knowledge of customer data management, such as consolidating, cleaning and testing customer data is preferred
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail, meticulous and focused on quality
  • Understands the marketing processes involved in campaign management, marketing analysis and reporting
  • Ability to manage and synthesize large, complex data sets and present actionable information in a clear and concise manner
  • Good understanding of KPIs / metrics / attributes related to direct to consumer data
  • Adaptable – with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
