Data Migration Analyst Job at Blue Octopus Recruitment Ltd
Fixed term until January 2024
About the role
These are exciting times at JRF/JRHT, where we are currently developing our new strategic plan. A key aspect of this will be transforming our finance and housing services – including putting in place the right technologies to deliver our mission to solve poverty in the UK and build and grow strong, empowered communities.
The Data Migration Analyst will play a key role in this – working closely with the Project Manager and key internal stakeholders to support the implementation of transformational change by standardizing and cleaning data held in current systems, designing and implementing new data structures, and working as part of the team mapping data to our new systems as part of data migration.
This is a great opportunity for someone to leverage their existing expertise in this area. In return, we can offer a fantastic benefits package and the opportunity to work in a truly values-driven organization.
With prior knowledge of data migration principles, methodologies and tools, you will have demonstrable experience working with large-scale organizational data migration programs, preferably including housing and finance data/systems.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to relate to a wide range of stakeholders, often having to convey complex ideas in simple, easy to understand terms. You will be meticulous by nature, with great attention to detail.
We want to make sure everyone, including our residents and staff, is safe and has extensive infection control and security measures in place, in all of our work environments.
In addition, it is the legislation of November 11, 2021, that anyone who works in a rest or care home or who must enter a care facility to perform their role, must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Therefore, meeting this requirement is part of our recruitment and selection process, where applicable.
The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JR1F) is an independent social change organization working to solve poverty in the UK. The Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is a registered housing association and care provider in Yorkshire and the North East. JRF and JRHT are two important influential organizations with an ambitious agenda to inspire positive change in the UK in line with our vision of a prosperous, poverty-free UK.
