Our London office is located in Old Street, the technology hub of London, and is home to a wide range of teams including sales, marketing and product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative work and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We create machine learning models to automate marketing operations, optimize our marketing spend, improve its reach and effectiveness across different channels including influencers, SEO and paid marketing. Reporting to a Senior Data Science Officer in the Data Department, you will lead a team and choose the appropriate technique for the task at hand (we maintain a diverse set of models including graphical modeling, deep learning, reinforcement learning, gradient amplification, Systems recommendation), keeping an eye on what’s happening in academia and industry to stay abreast of recent developments. We work in Python, run our models on Kubernetes in Google Cloud.


    • Work with product managers and marketing departments, define new data science products to support our growth;
    • Lead, coach and develop a team of accomplished data scientists and engineers to create value;
    • Develop ML algorithms focused in particular on the optimization of marketing channels;
    • Set up experiments to measure the impact of our models on the business;
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to produce and integrate ML algorithms in our backend or connect them to third-party tools;
    • Communicate complex solutions in a clear and understandable way to experts and non-experts.


    • You have a degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics or another quantitative discipline;
    • Experience in a machine learning or data science role with exposure to marketing issues;
    • Experience in developing Python software (production quality code including code reviews, agile development, version control) and familiarity with ML / science packages (e.g. Pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, keras , TensorFlow, PyTorch, PyMC3 or PyStan)
    • You have experience using ML techniques in a business environment, such as neural networks, reinforcement learning, Bayesian modeling, ML graph. Experience with marketing mix models is a plus.
    • Experience in managing complex projects or leading a data science team.
