About the team

The Strategy, Planning and Performance (SPP) division leads the development and maintenance of integrated university-wide strategic plans, planning processes, initiatives and performance requirements to support the University in the achievement of its objectives and improve the overall performance and reputation of the University.

The division will also coordinate the provision of timely and accurate business intelligence, information and reporting to support effective planning and decision making across the University.

About the opportunity

As an appointee, you will support, under general management, the production of advanced analytics services and business intelligence solutions that provide clear performance, forecasting and insights to support decision making.

To be considered for this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Relevant higher degree, preferably in data science or computer science or equivalent competence demonstrated
  • Significant experience in relevant analytics at an appropriate level
  • Advanced knowledge of Oracle Hyperion, Essbase and preferably Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
  • Substantial experience in the administration of the Oracle Hyperion platform, including metadata maintenance, security roles and access management, task scheduling, reporting and performance monitoring
  • Expertise with a variety of analysis and visualization tools such as Python, Power BI, SQL, Excel
  • Experience in an analytical role with the client and excellent stakeholder management, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create and maintain the process of loading and integrating Hyperion data

You will be highly organized and able to work independently, show initiative and use judgment. You will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and work productively within the Strategy, Planning and Performance team.
