Weather data analyst
DXT Commodities, for its Lugano office, is looking for a Weather Data Analyst to reinforce the weather analysis team supporting the Power Trading office. Applicants should have a passion for quantitative weather analysis. Previous research or work experience is not required but desirable.
The candidate will be part of a highly skilled analytics and research team and will work with weather data to generate trading signals for the trading desk.

- Output analysis of weather models Support the development of internal models to generate signals for power trading
Terms:
- Solid academic background in meteorology, physics, mathematics, statistics, etc. Advanced programming skills (ideally a strong knowledge of Python) and familiarity with UNIX Knowledge of numerical weather models and their output (GRIB files, netCDF files, etc.) Previous exposure to Machine Learning is a plus Fluency in English
